Innovative Partnerships
The Institute of Translational Health Sciences Community is broad based with a myriad of partnerships and relationships. The ITHS functions as a "collaboratory"; a structure that spans all institutions to foster collaboration, career development, education, and the
translational research process itself.
The Institute of Translational Health Sciences has also established a unique
Community Communications Program with a goal to create systems to recruit under-represented populations for training, mentoring and research participation.
The ITHS mission in the Research Community:
- Enhance and further develop collaboration networks in the community
- Provide the research community with educational programs and career development needed to strengthen translational research at all levels
- Support community innovative research, research infrastructure and the integration of innovative technologies into translational research
- Foster a community that values translational research as a priority in our environment.
