Preclinical Research Development Network
The Preclinical Research Development Network (PRDN) seeks to create a transforming research environment in which investigators gain access to the expertise and tools needed to prepare innovative ideas for human testing. In this way, novel technologies and methodologies are supported and sustained through the early phases of development when funding and expertise are most needed. This collaborative environment will have four cornerstones:
- enhanced communication and interactions among partners
- bidirectional access to expertise and resources for drug and device development in the community
- educational programs to facilitate development and commercialization of translational research
- initiatives to decrease barriers to collaboration.
