Research Resources
Regulatory Support and Bioethics
The Regulatory Support and Bioethics Core is working to promote
ethical translational collaborative research within the ITHS.
The RSB provides education, training, consultation and collaboration.
The RSB Core has two functional domains: Regulatory Support and Bioethics.
The
Regulatory Support Services
provide assistance to ITHS investigators and their staff in study development and implementation to improve efficiency and compliance with federal, state and institutional regulations. We offer guidance in completing IRB and other regulatory applications, developing or implementing data safety monitoring plans and developing study related documents. We will also offer access to a pool of study coordinators and
assist with education and training for investigators and staff.
The
Bioethics Services
address ethical concerns related to clinical and translational research. We provide research bioethics consultation services, educational programs, mentor and
conduct research on bioethical issues in translational research.
For further description of these core services and activities, and for information on requesting a consultation, please see either the Regulatory Support or Bioethics page
