Data safety and monitoring plan (DSMP) development
We can assist investigators in developing an appropriate monitoring plan for their clinical investigations. Members of the RSB core will meet with an investigator, review their protocol and make recommendations as to the level of monitoring appropriate for their study design. Read more about the DSMP.
How researchers use this resource or service
Assistance with development of data safety and monitoring plans is best done early in the process of protocol development and at least prior to submission of the IRB and SRC applications. Investigators have used this service to help determine if an independent monitoring committee is necessary for their study. At this time, while we cannot offer access to an independent monitoring committee, we can assist in identifying people to participate in such a committee.
Fees
This consult service is provided without charge for ITHS members
