ITHS Data Safety Monitoring Program Member Training

UW South Campus Center Room 316R The ITHS RSB Core is hosting Data Safety Monitoring Program Member training for registered ITHS members interested in serving on future Data Safety Monitoring Boards (DSMB).
Presenters:
- Dr. Wayne Morgan, DSMB Chair of the CFFT Therapeutics Development Network,
- Dr. Scott Emerson, Professors of Biostatistics
- Dr. Richard Kronmal, Professor of Biostatistics
Objectives:
- An overview of DSMBs including function, history and the regulatory framework
- What is involved in serving on a DSMB?
- Structure of DSMB meetings and the role of the Chair
- Statistical considerations
- Development and Function of ITHS DSMB Program
There are two sessions being offered: from 8am to noon and from 1-5pm.
Registration is required. This event is only open to ITHS members who are willing to serve on a DSMB. If you are not yet registered, please send email to Becky Ostrem.
