Ingrid Brown manages Communications and Special Projects for ITHS. Mrs. Brown tells the stories that communicate ITHS’s unique role in translational science. She works with a full range of ITHS audiences including research participants, investigators, and research teams to craft their message and build awareness for clinical and translational science support. Mrs.Brown also provides strategic support for other projects including annual conferences, public exhibitions, and national CTSA communications efforts.
Mrs. Brown is a strong creative and marketing leader with over fifteen years of experience developing creativity for premium brands through advertising, marketing and corporate communications for global Ad Agencies and Fortune 500 In-house studio. Her contributions entail developing creative strategy, ideating unique content, multimedia and video storytelling that speaks to different audiences creating brand awareness, culture change and long-term brand loyalty.
Mrs. Brown has won several creative awards for her work, including the national UNITY Award from the Radio Television Digital News Association for a community radio program she developed and managed that covered the cultural diversity of the Central Illinois Hispanic community.
