Dr. Stacey Long-Genovese brings more than 16 years of experience in program development, policy compliance, and higher education to her role as the ITHS Director of Education and Instructional Design. In this capacity, Dr. Long-Genovese leads three complex training programs that span stakeholders and institutions across the five-state WWAMI region. Dr. Long-Genovese also oversees the creation and integration of workforce development training curriculum across all ITHS programs.
Dr. Long-Genovese earned her PhD in Education Evaluation and Policy at Arizona State University, where she also received a Master’s of Public Administration that focused on higher education policy and doctoral and graduate student preparation.
Dr. Long-Genovese has held research positions in capacities ranging from writing and receiving grants to collecting field data and analyzing results. Prior to joining ITHS, Dr. Long-Genovese worked in research administration at Stanford University in the School of Medicine. She also served as the Director of the Office of Sponsored Research in the School of Business at Arizona State University.
