The Regional Clinical Dental Research Center (RCDRC) offers facilities and resources for translational and clinical research relevant to the pathogenesis, diagnosis, early detection, prevention, control, and treatment of oral diseases, disorders, and/or dysfunctions.
The RCDRC has two large dental research operatories, a biomedical wet lab, sterilization facilities, and space for clinical research support staff. The RCDRC has project coordinator, dental assisting, and dental hygiene staff support. The Director of the RCDRC, Dr. Douglas Ramsay, is available to consult with you about potential research projects.
How We Help
In operation since the early 1990s, the RCDRC has conducted clinical research initiated by corporations and faculty, as well as by residents, postdoctoral fellows, and graduate and predoctoral dental students. The RCDRC supports ongoing funded research programs for investigators and the collection of pilot data to serve as the basis for obtaining funding from federal, state, and other sources.
