About the speaker
Dr. Talamantes is an assistant clinical professor in internal medicine at the University of California, Davis (UC Davis) where he serves as the Associate Director for the Center for Reducing Health Disparities and as the Associate Program Director for the internal medicine residency program. He is the co-director for the UC Davis School of Medicine Center for a Diverse Healthcare Workforce (CDHW) and is readily recognized for leading various mentoring initiatives throughout the country to enhance leadership and diversity in the healthcare workforce.
