A new NIH policy goes into effect this fall: Single IRB.
Under this new regulation, multi-site clinical trials with NIH funding must rely on a single IRB to conduct the review. The goal of this policy is to reduce inefficiencies and streamline the IRB review process.
Dr. Karen Moe, Director of the Human Subjects Division will be holding information sessions around campus at the end of April. Come and learn more about how this big federally-required change will affect the grant application and IRB review processes.
