{"id":27601,"date":"2019-09-26T17:00:21","date_gmt":"2019-09-27T00:00:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.iths.org\/ctms\/?p=27601"},"modified":"2019-09-30T14:08:42","modified_gmt":"2019-09-30T21:08:42","slug":"target-three-design-underway","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.iths.org\/ctms\/news\/target-three-design-underway\/","title":{"rendered":"Target Three Design Underway"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"wpb-content-wrapper\"><p>[vc_row css_animation=&#8221;&#8221; row_type=&#8221;row&#8221; use_row_as_full_screen_section=&#8221;no&#8221; type=&#8221;full_width&#8221; angled_section=&#8221;no&#8221; text_align=&#8221;left&#8221; background_image_as_pattern=&#8221;without_pattern&#8221;][vc_column][vc_column_text]The CTMS <span xml:lang=\"EN-US\" data-contrast=\"auto\">Executive Sponsors <\/span><span xml:lang=\"EN-US\" data-contrast=\"auto\">have <\/span><span xml:lang=\"EN-US\" data-contrast=\"auto\">officially kicked off<\/span> <b><i><\/i><\/b><b><i><span xml:lang=\"EN-US\" data-contrast=\"auto\">Target Three <\/span><span xml:lang=\"EN-US\" data-contrast=\"auto\">&#8211; <\/span><span xml:lang=\"EN-US\" data-contrast=\"auto\">Study Financial Management<\/span><span xml:lang=\"EN-US\" data-contrast=\"auto\">, <\/span><\/i><\/b><span xml:lang=\"EN-US\" data-contrast=\"auto\">the next step of the <\/span><span xml:lang=\"EN-US\" data-contrast=\"auto\">multi-year CTMS <\/span><span xml:lang=\"EN-US\" data-contrast=\"auto\">implementation <\/span><span xml:lang=\"EN-US\" data-contrast=\"auto\">effort. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span xml:lang=\"EN-US\" data-contrast=\"auto\">The kick-off event <\/span><span xml:lang=\"EN-US\" data-contrast=\"auto\">was held on September 25, 2019 in<\/span><span xml:lang=\"EN-US\" data-contrast=\"auto\"> the <\/span><span xml:lang=\"EN-US\" data-contrast=\"auto\">Brotman<\/span><span xml:lang=\"EN-US\" data-contrast=\"auto\"> Auditorium at UW Medicine\u2019s South Lake Union Campus. <\/span><span xml:lang=\"EN-US\" data-contrast=\"auto\">Over 75 attendees joined<\/span><span xml:lang=\"EN-US\" data-contrast=\"auto\"> in-person and remotely,<\/span><span xml:lang=\"EN-US\" data-contrast=\"auto\"> including study team staff, parallel office staff and CTMS implementation and operations staff. <\/span><span xml:lang=\"EN-US\" data-contrast=\"auto\">The event provided several key pieces of information to those in attendance including:<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:240}\">\u00a0<\/span>[\/vc_column_text]<div class=\"q_list circle animate_list\">\n\t<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A welcome message and <span data-contrast=\"auto\">statement of <\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">project goals <\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">from <\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Debby Gentzen <\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">VP, Chief Strategy Officer, Seattle Cancer Care Alliance <\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">and <\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">CTMS Executive Sponsor<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> An overview of <span data-contrast=\"auto\">CTMS Implementation Status, Target Three Scope, Structure, and Design Approach <\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">from Ganga Subramanian, CTMS Project Director<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> A recap of project guiding principles from John Slattery<span data-contrast=\"auto\">, <\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Vice Dean, Research and Graduate Education, UW School of Medicine, Professor, Pharmacology and Medicine<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> and <\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">CTMS Executive Sponsor<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/div>[vc_empty_space height=&#8221;24px&#8221;][vc_column_text]The kick-off event featured an interactive <span xml:lang=\"EN-US\" data-contrast=\"auto\">Q&amp;A panel where audience members posed key questions to Parallel Office and Program Office Leadership staff including:<\/span>[\/vc_column_text]<div class=\"q_list circle animate_list\">\n\t<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Steve Johnson, Director, SCCA Research Integration<\/li>\n<li><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> Pavel Kruchek, Director, UW Clinical Trials Office<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> Kristi Stiffler, Associate VP, Fred Hutch Clinical Research Support<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> Molly Van Rheen, CTMS Program Office Director<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/div>[vc_empty_space height=&#8221;24px&#8221;][vc_column_text]The CTMS team is excited to continue the implementation journey. Target Three efforts will gain further momentum as the <span xml:lang=\"EN-US\" data-contrast=\"auto\">team heads into detailed design involving ten working groups and three study team advisory groups.
