Description

As we are in the midst of Clinical Trials Awareness Week (May 18 – 22) this year, the University of Washington Health Sciences Library would like to invite you to a virtual presentation, Clinical Trials and Why it Matters. Covering topics such as the clinical trials process, types of clinical trials, vaccine trials, ClinicalTrials.gov and the ethics involving clinical trials, the 40-minute talk will highlight the importance of clinical trials principals with consideration to the ongoing pandemic. The presentation will be hosted by Taylor Zimmermann, a Clinical Trials Specialist for the UW HSL with a decade of clinical trials background experience.
