Department of Medicine Observational Research Pilot Grant

Important Note: As of September 1, 2018, the ITHS Biomedical Informatics team will no longer provide services through the De-identified Clinical Data Repository (DCDR) tool. The ITHS DCDR will be replaced by a new tool called, “Leaf,” which has been developed in partnership with UW Medicine.

Department of Medicine Observational Research Pilot Grant

The UW Department of Medicine Observational Research Fund will award two to three grants of $1,500 to $2,000 twice per year to support the IT costs associated with data retrieval for DCDR-generated projects.

The request for proposals are announced in the spring and fall and the grants are awarded one month afterwards. The application consists of a one and a half page description of the project, which will be judged on scientific merit and feasibility.
