19 Feb Chronic Pain Self-Management Interventions for Cancer Survivors
We are inviting cancer survivors to participate in our study to see if a recorded self-management intervention will reduce chronic pain. The study involves listening daily to a 12 to 18-minute recording of either a hypnosis or relaxation intervention for 28 days. Questionnaires are completed at the beginning of the study, at week 2, and at the end of the study (week 4) to allow us to compare the two groups. Study participants will receive up to $50 for their participation.
(1) Regularly experiencing moderate or severe pain related to cancer or its treatment
(2) Completed active cancer treatment other than maintenance therapy
