Health App to Support Childhood Asthma Management- UW IMPACT Study

IMPACT is a new health app designed to support parent-child teams to manage asthma together. Parents and kids helped design the app, which we are now testing in a 16-week study. Parent-child teams will complete 3 study visits (at home or virtual) with several surveys to complete. Half of parent-child teams will be assigned to try the app for 8 weeks and the other half will not, though will be offered access to the app at the end of the study. Parent-child teams are eligible for up to $375 in digital gift cards.

Participant Eligibility

Children between 7-11 years old with prescription for daily asthma medication AND
Parent/legal guardian 18+ years old, have a smartphone with data plan, and live with the child.
Must live in King, Pierce or Snohomish County, Washington.
