25 Jan Return to Learn – Concussion Study
Recruiting parents and guardians of children in High School who recently experienced a traumatic brain injury or concussion. We are working to develop an innovative program that aims to improve student outcomes while the student gradually returns to schoolwork after the brain injury. Participation in the study requires a 5-week commitment to completing weekly surveys. Monetary compensation is available upon completion of your participation.
– Parent or guardian of a child who attends High School (age 14 – 19) and sustained a concussion or traumatic brain injury in the past three months.
– Child who sustained the concussion was not hospitalized for more than 48 hours for reasons related to the concussion.
– Child who sustained the concussion is not receiving care from a concussion clinic
– Able to complete weekly surveys over a 5-week period through an internet access or telephone services.
