Speech in Parkinson’s Disease

The Motor Speech and Cognitive Disorders Laboratory at the University of Washington is currently seeking volunteers with Parkinson’s disease. Our study
will examine speech changes and how these changes relate to the motor characteristics of Parkinson’s disease.

Participant Eligibility

  • Age 50-85
  • Native speaker of American English
  • No prior history of stroke, traumatic brain injury, or other neurologic condition
  • No prior history of Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS)
