We are looking for prepubertal girls whose weight is higher for their height and age, and their parents\/guardians to participate in a clinical trial at the University of Washington.<\/p>\n

The purpose of the study is to learn more about the health and development of young girls and whether improving diet and physical activity early in life may affect the timing of puberty. This research is important because girls who experience puberty at an earlier age are at risk for poor psychological and physical health. <\/p>\n

Participant Eligibility<\/h3>\n

– prepubertal girls about 6-8 years old
