Justin Marlowe
Professor Marlowe has published three books and more than 50 articles on a variety of topics in public financial management, including the municipal securities market, capital budgeting and finance, government financial transparency, local fiscal policy, public pensions and legacy costs, financing public health systems, and public-private partnerships. Several foundations and professional associations have supported his work, including the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and the International City/County Management Association. He is currently at work on two major projects: a study of liquidity risk in the municipal bond market since the Great Recession, and a multi-year analysis of the financial implications of inter-local collaboration among local public health agencies.
