The University of Washington Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory is staffed with veterinary pathologists and technicians knowledgeable in laboratory animal anatomy, histology, physiology and pathology. In collaboration with the clinical Veterinary Services Unit and the Rodent Health Monitoring Program, the UWVDL aids in defining and maintaining the health of laboratory animals. The UWVDL provides support for the laboratory animal colonies and research programs through diagnostic and research testing.
