Detailed Information
The HCL provides a range of histological services that includes paraffin embedment of tissue specimens, paraffin block sectioning, slide mounting, staining with standard histological dyes (e.g., hematoxylin & eosin; Masson’s Trichrome), and immunohistochemical staining. The services of the HCL are available to investigators at BRI and are also available (for research purposes only) to VMMC personnel and to investigators from other institutions.
