Focusing on Data QC

One of the key benefits of our shared CTMS is increased ability to report data across all our studies and subjects. High data quality is essential to comprehensive reporting. The CTMS Program Office has a Data QC program underway in partnership with our parallel offices – the Cancer Consortium’s Clinical Research Support office, the UW Clinical Trials Office and SCCA’s Research Integration office. The QC Program includes review and study team outreach on a variety of data topics including:

  • Library Assignment for Studies
  • Accuracy of Fields Pertinent to CRBB Intake
  • Adherence to Oncology Minimum Footprint
  • Adherence to Health Affairs Minimum Footprint
  • IRB Reviews Data Entry
  • Adherence to Subject Minimum Footprint & Various Exception Scenarios

The CTMS Program office and our parallel office partners reach out to study teams requesting clarifications or corrections related to the above topics.

A prompt response from each team to QC communications is requested and much appreciated. If you have questions on the CTMS QC Program, please contact us at CTMS_QC@fredhutch.org
