07 Oct CRPS-RISE
Why CRPS-RISE?
CRPS-RISE (NCT07210515) is a Phase 3 randomized, triple-blind, placebo-controlled clinical trial evaluating neridronate as a potential new treatment option for Complex Regional Pain Syndrome Type 1 (CRPS-1), a rare and debilitating condition with an annual incidence of ~65,0001 and currently no FDA-approved medicine in the United States.
What’s Involved?
Study-related medical care and treatment provided at no cost
10 study visits over a minimum of 14 weeks (screening period may be up to 6 weeks)
Patient-Centric Care in Research:
• Travel & accommodation support/assistance for those who qualify
• Quality of life patient-reported outcomes
• Labs and blood draws – with some potentially done at home
• An Expanded Access Program and Patient Registry for those completing the trial
Why Should Patients Participate?
– Help advance research for CRPS-1 for future generations
– Further the evidence base supporting the use of neridronate in patients with early and warm CRPS-1, with a positive triple phase bone scan
– Contribute to a potential new treatment option for CRPS-1
– Receive close monitoring and expert care

Participant Eligibility
You may be eligible to participate if you:
• Are aged 18 years or older
• Started having symptoms within the last 6 months
• Have CRPS in only one limb and that limb is swollen,
red, and/or warm
There are other requirements that the trial doctor can
discuss with you. The investigational drug in this trial is
being studied specifically for the warm subtype of CRPS-1.
That is why the trial focuses on certain people with CRPS
and not everyone.
