WYE Study

The main question the WYE study is exploring: Does the brain change after short term diet changes and can MRI detect these changes?Participants will have an in-person screening visit, then 5 in-person study visits at UW SLU in the morning over a 2 week period and 1 remote visit at the 12-week timepoint. Procedures include fasting blood draws, body measurements, DEXA scan (special x-ray), MRI, questionnaires and eating only study foods provided by the study for 2 weeks. Participant Eligibility

People aged 20-40 with BMI between 25 and 29.9 kg/m2 and willing to eat only study foods for 2 weeks. Other eligibility criteria screened by phone and confirmed in person. Participants cannot be in a weight loss program, pregnant or breast feeding, or have gallbladder disease.
