27 Jun ITHS Funding Update: NoA Received
ITHS is happy to announce that the notice of award (NoA) for our NIH grants has been received as of June 27th. We are ramping up activities immediately and expect to return to operations within a few weeks. ITHS staff with significant salary support on the UL1 will return to full-time effective June 30.
Unfortunately, ITHS will look somewhat different going forward. The approved budget does not include continued support of Integrated Special Populations (ISP). Additionally, our Gene & Cell Therapy Lab (GCTL) will be out of commission for an extended period. We’ll share updates as we know them.
We would like to extend gratitude and appreciation for the funding by NIH/NCATS, which allows us to continue our support of critical translational research and training here and across the WWAMI region. We would also like to thank our staff, faculty, institutional partners, ITHS members, and everyone who supported us during this difficult time.
If you have any specific questions about ITHS operations, please reach out to ITHSadmn@uw.edu with your name, affiliation, institution, and contact information, and we will reach out to you. For those who use REDcap, yes, this means REDcap services will continue without interruption.
