She has twenty-five years of experience in Enterprise IT for several Fortune 500 companies, specializing in cybersecurity risk and effective remediation to strengthen IT Operations. This expertise extends to driving a risk-based strategy through an in-depth and applied knowledge of Governance, Risk, and Compliance. Ms. Avril is committed to advancing healthcare and research technology, and her involvement in UW RIT includes enhancing technology integration in clinical research, supporting investigators in data access and EHR systems.
