REMOTE Research Advising Program

REMOTE Research Advising Program

The REMOTE Research Advising Program is a free consultation program aimed at leveraging remote technology to expand the reach of clinical and observational research and reduce participation burden. Remote tools offer a modern approach to research recruitment and conduct, but come with unique implementation, participant engagement and regulatory hurdles.

The REMOTE team of physician-researchers and research coordinators has experience with the use of remote research tools in the areas of:

  • protocol development
  • technology selection
  • recruitment and retention
  • engagement with rural-living participants
  • regulatory considerations
  • implementation

We are currently seeking researchers in Washington, Wyoming, Alaska, Montana, or Idaho who are considering incorporating remote tools in their study design and conduct to participate in our proof-of-concept study. Please note: our program provides expert consultation and strategy; we do not provide direct participant interaction or study coordination.
