Volunteers needed for Beta testing! Pre-Screening 101: An interactive course in remote recruitment
The Hub Liaison Team (HLT) and Translational Workforce Development (TWD) are partnering to design an interactive course that will be housed on the ITHS Translational Research Education Engine (TREE). The Pre-Screening 101 training aims to educate researchers on the value of a REDCap based, remote, pre-screening tool that increases the size and diversity of the recruitment catchment area and decreases staff resources, screen failures, lost volunteers, and extended accrual periods.
Pre-Screening 101 will review regulatory requirements and methods of electronic consent, how remote surveys can build on DEI initiatives, and provide additional REDCap and recruitment resources.
Volunteers will be given two weeks to watch the complete Pre-Screening 101 training course and sign up to participate in one or multiple virtual semi-structured interviews, facilitated by TWD and the HLT. We anticipate 2-3 hours of your time from December-January. An honorarium will be provided to participants who complete the semi-structured interview and provide feedback.
