Training Resources for Research Staff
Clinical, community-based, and public health research finds new ways to prevent, diagnose and treat diseases and conditions, understand the health priorities of different communities, and improve the health of populations. Demand for and growth potential of research coordinators is high, but many research organizations struggle to fill open positions and hire trained professionals.
ITHS is working with universities, and clinical and community organizations across the WWAMI region to expand and diversify the research workforce pipeline. Together, our teams have created several resources to build awareness about research careers, support onboarding of new research assistants and coordinators and provide on-demand training for existing research coordinators.
Researchers, human resources professionals and research administrators may distribute links to the videos below, customize their own outreach and training content using the following templates, and record customized training for access by employees on their internal systems or the ITHS Translational Research Education Engine (TREE).
