Hyacinth Lee, PhD, RN
Hyacinth Lee, PhD, RN, oversees the day to day operations of the ITHS Translational Research Unit (TRU) at the University of Washington Medical Center. In her role, Dr. Lee partners with investigators to provide the best human laboratory available for the conduct of compliant, responsible and efficient translational research.
Dr. Lee has a career spanning more than 20 years of progressive nursing practice, clinical leadership and research. In addition to supporting the whole clinical research environment, she has worked on her own academic research projects in community health nursing focused on cardiology. Before coming to the University of Washington, Dr. Lee oversaw a disease management program and a research group at Johns Hopkins, where she also earned her PhD.
