About the speaker
Dr. Christine Miaskowski is an American Cancer Society Clinical Research Professor and Vice Chair for Research in the Department of Physiological Nursing at the University of California, San Francisco. Her program of research focuses on the identification of oncology patients who are at greatest risk for the most severe symptom burden. She has had continuous funding from the National Institutes of Health for the past 25 years. She has a strong commitment to the dissemination of her research findings with over 500 data-based publications.
