In this quarter’s CRES event, Erica Jonlin, Regulatory Manager at the Institute for Stem Cell and Regenerative Medicine, will present informed consent considerations for people who are contemplating donation of frozen embryos and other biospecimens for stem cell research meant to develop therapeutics.

By attending this event, you will:

  • Learn about ethical issues related to the donation of biospecimens that can be used to derive pluripotent stem cells
  • Work in small groups to discuss the pros and cons of informing donors about whether their donation led to the development of a therapeutic
  • Share ideas regarding ongoing relationships with donors of pluripotent stem cells and expansion of research goals into the future

This event is applicable to intermediate-advanced Research Coordinators who work in a health sciences research environment.

Session materials will be posted to this page in advance of the event. If you cannot attend in person, you can join the live meeting via the CRES Adobe Connect site.
