You are invited to our UW Department of Family Medicine’s monthly Research Seminar Series. We welcome all learners, faculty, and staff. Feel free to bring your lunch. Light snacks will be provided.
The PROD study, Patient-Centered Research Standards of Outcomes in Diagnostic Tests, is a 3 year PCORI methodological research project. The aims of this study are to determine what outcomes are important to patients and people who provide care for them during a diagnostic imaging test, to learn what, if any of those outcomes are being measured in the literature, and to generate guidelines on how to research those outcomes in the future. In this seminar we’ll discuss results from part 1 of this project, the qualitative results of patients interviewed after diagnostic imaging tests.
