Description

Leadership skills are vital in order to increase optimization of your influence, credibility, and of your ability to incite and create a synergy of personal and professional expansion.  These skills we were taught as a child, and they are:  Learning how to interrogate the dominant and forced reality, learning how to actively and holistically listen, and finally, understanding the magnificence and breadth of humanity.  These paramount leadership skills, when coupled together, will cultivate an environment of engagement, productivity, and accountability to exude one’s very best!

Schedule of activities

  • 11:15-11:20pm – Welcome/Introduction
  • 11:20-12:20pm – Presentation and Q&A
  • 12:20-12:25pm – Thank You and Feedback Survey

Learning Objectives

At the end of the session, participants will:

  1. Explain and demonstrate the benefits of interrogating reality to determine the effectiveness of systems, processes, and behaviors, and to measure their impact on the individual, the team, and the organization.
  2. Demonstrate how to actively and holistically listen to build trust, integrity and radical transparency, which are the cornerstones of an enhanced relationship.
  3. Explain and integrate the concept of Compassionate Leadership to help build and support self-worth, vulnerability, and grit, within yourself and your team.

About the Speaker

LEE DAVIS

Consultant, UW Professional & Organizational Development

PHILOSOPHY STATEMENT
My purpose as a facilitator and as a person is to help others realize their full potential, achieve, and excel. I believe that in many ways we live in darkness and it takes a tremendous amount of inquiry and self-exploration to even start to understand how vast we really are. Whether as a mentor, coach, colleague, or facilitator, I thrive on helping others acquire new knowledge and perspectives that in turn enable them to grow personally and professionally.

I feel that we should be driven by goals but open to possibilities, and as a result my approach is both inspirational and inquisitive.
