The Journal Club is a forum for research coordinators to review published articles and hear perspectives of others to enhance job skills and practice.
Our October 12 meeting will explore how health care systems interact with patients of diverse backgrounds. Specifically, we’ll look at a recent survey of Puget Sound area physicians and their perceptions of cultural competence. This meeting will discuss the survey findings in the context of conducting research.
The journal article will be distributed in advance of the meeting, along with suggested discussion questions. Additional details can be found by visiting the ITHS website.
