The ITHS Research Coordinator Networking to Enhance Development (NED) Conference is an annual professional development conference for research coordinators. Participants expand their knowledge and skills and get a chance to develop contacts, share ideas, and learn from peers.
The NED Conference is organized by the Institute of Translational Health Sciences and is a collaboration between the University of Washington, Fred Hutch, and Seattle Children’s.
The NED Conference is for research professionals of all levels of experience who perform research coordination duties in the health sciences field.
We welcome attendees to the virtual version of the NED Conference from across the WWAMI region and beyond.
Originally the NED Conference was an all-day, in‐person event hosted in Seattle, but we are currently hosting it as an online Zoom event. All are welcome to connect!
NED 2022 is designed for research professionals and will be held entirely virtual over Zoom. Our keynote presentation will address “Resilience and Well-Being: Building Strength for the Road Ahead” and there will be a round of concurrent breakout sessions – Option 1: eConsent and REDCap; and Option 2: Equity, Diversity & Inclusion. Attendees will choose which breakout session they would like to join during the live event (no need to pre-select at registration).
The goal of our breakout sessions is to have interactive discussions on the topics, led by a facilitator/presenter. These discussions are for our audience of research staff to connect and interact.
Please be prepared to share your audio and video during breakout session for optimal experience and interactivity. For those connecting to this session from a shared workspace with colleagues nearby, consider joining from a more private location where you are comfortable talking in a breakout session.
We are pleased to offer the NED Conference at no cost to participants.
NED 2022 will be held on Thursday, February 17. Registration will be open January 18–February 14.
Please contact Aric Lane with any questions.
