What is the NED Conference?
The ITHS Research Coordinator Networking to Enhance Development (NED) Conference is an annual professional development conference for research coordinators. Participants expand their knowledge and skills and get a chance to develop contacts, share ideas, and learn from peers.
The NED Conference is organized by the Institute of Translational Health Sciences and is a collaboration between the University of Washington, Fred Hutch, and Seattle Children’s.
Who should attend the NED Conference?
The NED Conference is for research professionals of all levels of experience who perform research coordination duties in the health sciences field.
What can I expect from NED 2023?
NED 2023 is designed for research professionals and will be held in person on the main UW Campus. This year’s conference will start at the Husky Union Building where we will have a keynote address, breakouts and boxed lunches. After the breakouts, we will transition to Intellectual House for the ITHS Expo poster session featuring ITHS researchers and research service partners and offices, as well as additional networking opportunities with the broader research community.

What is the cost to attend?
We are pleased to offer the NED Conference at no cost to participants.
When can I register for the NED Conference?
NED 2023 will be held on Thursday, May 18. Registration will be open April 24–April 30.
